Overview:
Anubias barteri nana Mini Coin is a highly compact and decorative Anubias variety, recognised for its small, rounded “coin-shaped” leaves and neat growth habit. Supplied in an in-vitro cup, this plant is grown in sterile laboratory conditions, ensuring it is free from pests, algae, and snails.
Its miniature size makes it perfect for nano aquariums, detailed aquascapes, and fine hardscape work. When attached to rocks or driftwood, Mini Coin adds subtle texture and lush greenery without overpowering surrounding plants.
Care and Growth:
This plant thrives under low to moderate lighting and does not require CO₂ injection, making it very easy to care for. CO₂ supplementation and regular liquid fertilisation can encourage healthier leaves and slightly faster growth, though growth remains naturally slow.
The rhizome should not be buried in the substrate, as this may cause rot. Instead, attach the plant to hardscape using thread or aquarium-safe glue. Propagation is done by carefully dividing the rhizome, ensuring each section has multiple leaves.
